The Newest Biggest Loser
I was not a contestant on a reality show. I have never applied to be a part of a reality television. Many of the shows were not made for a person like me, and I didn’t have the guts to try for it anyway. There was one show I was qualified for though and that is the Biggest Loser. The bottom line is I was fat. Because of my weight I had diabetes, high blood pressure and joint pain. Even if I wasn’t going to enjoy my fifteen minutes of fame, that didn’t mean I had to stay the way that I was.
I am a fan of the show and had been to the website many times and had gone on the chat rooms that I found on the biggest loser forum, and also visited the websites that they had links to help me figure out what method I was going to use to lose my fat. I found out about detox programs that could help me lose a lot of weight in a hurry and picked one that I though would fit my lifestyle. The customer service representative was happy to assist me and I received my program shortly after talking to her. Unfortunately, I was unsure whether I really wanted to make the changes that I need to and the detox system stayed in its box for a little while. My common sense kept telling me to start my diet and I finally listened to myself.
I knew I wanted to learn how to lose weight fast, and the only way that I was going to do this was by trusting the product that I had bought and committing myself to getting the results. So on a fateful day in February, I began my journey. I knew that I had to make this diet work because I was not going to have a lot of other chances. My weight had been a problem for so long that it was a normal part of my life and I hated it. I used the cleansing system as directed I used the detox system every morning, watched what I ate and hoped that it worked. I was determined to stay with the system and wanted to give it a chance. It would be easy for me to stop what I was doing if I didn’t see the results that I expected every day even though the plan said that results would vary and your weight would fluctuate. The detox program promised to cleanse my body of unwanted impurities and to speed up my metabolism. I knew that if I combined the detox system with exercise I would be able to lose the weight even faster.
I knew that doing six pack ab exercises in my living room was not going to help me at all so I went out searching and found a gym that was convenient to me and joined. I made time in my schedule to workout every evening. I had heard that if you exercise after dinner, you were more likely to eat a smaller meal. It seems if you are not as full, the workouts would be more enjoyable. There was nothing I wouldn’t do to lose weight. The three weeks of the detox went by and I got on the scale at the gym. It was truly amazing. My weight had dropped by almost fifty pounds. In only three weeks. The detox program worked, but now what was I to do.
I turned to the professionals at the health spa I had joined. We developed a plan that I could follow to keep me moving towards my goals. With the help of a nutritionist, I was able to develop a healthy diet for me to follow. I was successful and reached my goal within two years. My health problems have disappeared and I look good in my clothes. What began as an evening of entertainment for me while flipping through the television channels turned into a life changing event. I had become the champion of my own reality show even if no one else had watched it.
